Dr. Olivier Mares
Dr. Mares began his medical career as a resident at the University Hospital of Lille from 2003 to 2009, where he also served as Vice President of the Residents’ Association. He continued his training as a fellow at the University Hospital of Montpellier from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, he became Head of Outpatient Surgery at the University Hospital of Nîmes.
Since 2013, he has worked with professional athletes, including as Chief Surgeon of USAM (first division handball) and Nîmes Olympique (third division football).

The consultation cost is €300 and an invoice will be issued to you that can be used for private medical insurance claims.
Surgery duration depends on the procedure, but on average you are looking at 10 minutes for the procedure itself, and 45 minutes for the full appointment.
Recovery time is also dependent upon the procedure but thanks to minimum invasion techniques without stitching, your recovery time is likely to be 24/48 hours. After this time you shall be able to return to daily activity.
But never forget it is a surgery, scarring tissue is remodeled until 3/6 months then you will have the final result.
The cost of the surgery varies between €800 and €3000. An estimate will be sent to you after the consultation is completed.
